Fleischer’s Integrity

Jeanne Stacks (letter, May 21) implies that press secretary Ari Fleischer, “showing a little integrity,” could be resigning because he disagrees with the administration’s policies. Not so. If that were the case he would never have taken or even been offered the job in the first place.

She also questions the integrity, honesty and compassion of President Bush and his commitment to “do the right thing” for our country. I suppose Stacks was happy when Bill Clinton was in office. We all know he had all the stellar qualities she apparently equates with honesty and integrity.
