Residents to Fight Plan for Indian Casino
Some Yuba County residents are getting ready to do battle against a proposed casino.
About 50 people gathered Sunday to raise money to hire an attorney to challenge the Enterprise Rancheria’s plan to build a casino on 40 acres here.

The Yuba County Board of Supervisors approved a memorandum of understanding in December that the tribe would give $73 million to the county during the casino’s first 16 years. It was approved 3 to 2, Supervisor Don Schrader said.
