* Cisco Systems Inc., the world’s largest marker of equipment to link computers, agreed to pay $80 million for Latitude Communications Inc., a seller of audio and Web conferencing gear, to expand its Internet-based products.

* ChevronTexaco Corp., the second-largest U.S. oil producer, said it would record a charge in the fourth quarter to reflect its share of a loss from the sale of Dynegy Inc.’s Illinois Power utility.
