Master Chorale signs radio pact

The Los Angeles Master Chorale, a resident company of the Music Center, has finalized a new partnership under which KMZT-FM (105.1) will broadcast all eight of the choir’s concerts in both the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons.

The arrangement marks the first time in the Master Chorale’s history that a radio station will carry a full season of its concerts. The series will also include the Master Chorale’s first live broadcast, of the group’s sold-out inaugural concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall Sunday at 7 p.m.
