Man, 27, Killed in Crash in Anaheim
The 27-year-old driver of car was killed early Saturday in Anaheim, when his car collided with a pickup truck at Lincoln Avenue and Citron Street, police said.
Arturo O. Benitez, who died later at a hospital, was southbound on Citron and may have failed to stop at a red light at Lincoln Avenue, police said.
The accident’s cause remained under investigation.
Benitez and his 21-year-old male passenger were removed from the wreckage by paramedics using the Jaws of Life.
The passenger did not suffer life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the pickup was uninjured.
