Man Killed After Drill Catches on His Clothing
From Times Wire Reports
A Sebastopol man was killed Wednesday when the drill he was operating snagged his sleeve and dragged him into the machinery, authorities said.
Dustin Fiori, 22, was taking soil samples at an old naval fueling station on San Pablo Bay when the spinning drill bit caught his clothing, Contra Costa County coroner’s officials said. Fiori died within minutes of the accident.
The accident was being investigated by officials of the state Division of Occupational Health and Safety.
