St. John’s guard Willie Shaw was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession, police said.

Shaw was charged with fifth-degree possession of marijuana Tuesday in Queens, according to Officer Jennara Everleth, a police department spokeswoman.

Shaw’s former teammate, Marcus Hatten, was also arrested on the same charge.

St. John’s said Friday that Shaw, averaging 4.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, was suspended indefinitely for violating unspecified team rules.

Kansas guard Michael Lee is expected to be sidelined for two months after breaking his right collarbone in practice Friday, Coach Bill Self said.
