Eight Soldiers Fall From Helicopter Into the Sea
From Times Wire Reports
Eight Indonesian soldiers were feared killed after falling from a helicopter in Aceh province while practicing a display for Armed Forces Day.
The soldiers were hanging from a helicopter on ropes when the craft was caught in a gust of wind over the ocean and the crew had to cut the men’s line to prevent the aircraft from crashing, an army spokesman said.
Searchers were unable to find any of the soldiers, who fell into the sea about 300 yards from the shore.
