Choosing the slow lane in Cincinnati

In his ode to Cincinnati [“Cincinnati Hits a Home Run,” Sept. 7], Steven Rosen quotes Dickens, Churchill and Longfellow in praise of that fair city but leaves out a comment reportedly made by Mark Twain.
When asked what he would do if he knew the end of the world was imminent, Twain replied he’d move to Cincinnati, because everything happens there 20 years later.
