Up to 22 Suspected Militants Are Detained

Yemeni police have detained up to 22 people on suspicion of planning attacks on Western and Yemeni targets, a security source said. Yemen is battling Islamic militants, including suspected members of Al Qaeda, blamed for the bombings of the U.S. warship Cole and a French supertanker in Yemeni waters.
Last week, the U.S. Embassy in Sana advised Americans in Yemen to take precautions because of an unspecified threat.
