Journalist Helps Leak CIA Agent’s Name

Share

Re “White House Blasts Accuser in CIA Leak,” Oct. 8: So syndicated columnist Robert Novak received information about the identity of an undercover CIA agent knowing he was being given this information so he would publish it -- and then he did. Sounds like he conspired to break the law and then carried it out himself. This is different from a journalist being told the details of a previously committed crime. Here the journalist is, in fact, the primary perpetrator.
