Doing Business Abroad

It is not being discussed much by Democratic presidential candidates, but it is no secret that more and more businesses are leaving for the Third World. And with them are good-paying jobs that will never return. Though it is difficult to stop this exodus, there are measures we can institute to make sure we do not finance their relocation. The measures include: no government contracts; no tax breaks of any sort; and if they get their tails in a sling in their new countries, no calling the U.S. military to rescue them. A business that leaves to escape paying U.S. wages and taxes is, for all intents and purposes, renouncing its citizenship and is therefore ineligible for these things.
