Man Slain in Fight With His Half Brother

A 25-year-old man was shot to death in a quarrel with his half brother at a family gathering, police said Wednesday.
The 17-year-old half brother, whom police declined to identify, was wounded.
The mother of both men used her nursing skills to treat them Tuesday night before paramedics arrived at the scene of the shooting on Halldale Avenue, police officials said.
The brothers had argued over women before, and after an evening of drinking, the elder, Larry Patrick, had rekindled the quarrel, police said.
