12,000 Marijuana Plants Discovered
From Times Wire Reports
Law enforcement authorities discovered more than 12,000 marijuana plants growing on a steep canyon along Palomar Mountain, a region known for illegal pot cultivation.
Officers with San Diego County’s Narcotics Task Force uprooted the nearly mature plants Wednesday from the north side of the 6,126-foot mountain.
No arrests have been made.
