MTA Seeks Feedback on Bus Line Changes
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will hold public hearings this week to solicit feedback from riders about proposed changes to bus lines.
The hearings begin at 6 p.m. at the following locations:
Tonight at Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson; Thursday at Progress Park, 15500 Downey Ave., Paramount; and Thursday at MTA Headquarters, 1 Gateway Plaza, 3rd Floor Board Room, downtown Los Angeles.
Routes facing cutbacks or cancellation include the 58, 96, 125, 128, 130, 167, 177, 218, 225, 226, 254, 256, 270, 608, 625, 626, 646, 250, 253, 471, and the 119-126. The MTA intends to add service to Route 620 and establish a new rapid bus line along Soto Street in East Los Angeles.
