Northwestern Coach Cleared
The Big Ten said Wednesday that it plans no action against Northwestern assistant Jay Peterson, who elbowed Air Force quarterback Chance Harridge while reaching to hug one of his players.
Harridge responded to the elbow by punching Peterson and was ejected from Air Force’s victory on Saturday. Big Ten officials reviewed a videotape of the run-in and found insufficient evidence that Peterson violated any rules.
