Suspected Gang Member Charged With 2 Killings
Prosecutors charged a suspected gang member with capital murder Friday for allegedly killing two youths in South Los Angeles this week.
The prosecutors have not decided whether to seek the death penalty against Marcel Dion Harling, 18. They said, however, that there was not enough evidence to charge the two juveniles arrested with him.
Quinesha Dunford, 15, and Demario Moore, 13, both students at Manual Arts High, were struck by bullets from a passing car as they stood with friends Wednesday night near Normandie and Slauson avenues.
