Turnstiles for Trains
Re “$45 Million to Fund Buses, Red Line,” Sept. 15: Rather than spend more on the Red Line, why are there no security gates preventing people from walking onto the train? I have boarded many times and seen people running down the steps and into the cars because there are no turnstiles. The trains should be run as they are in New York -- not on the honor system -- and maybe the MTA wouldn’t need more money.
