Federal Communications Commission Chairman Michael K. Powell said he would stay at the agency until the end of the Bush administration, stomping out speculation that he would leave anytime soon.

“I don’t know how many times I have to say this, once and for all, for the record, I am staying until the end of the president’s administration,” Powell said. “We have a large and important agenda ahead.”
