Man Is Charged With Killing 3-Year-Old Son

A 23-year-old Oakland man who allegedly beat to death his 3-year-old son when he didn’t recite his numbers or ABCs correctly was charged Tuesday with homicide, felonious assault on a child under 8 and child endangerment, said Sandra Quist, Alameda County assistant district attorney.
Chazarus Hill Sr. also violated his probation in a narcotics case, Quist said.
