Update -- After playing five of their first seven games on the road, including the last three, the Avengers return home where they are winless this season. The Avengers could not hold a 10-point halftime lead last week at San Jose and lost, 55-52. The Avengers are without defensive specialist Damen Wheeler, who suffered a sprained knee ligament against San Jose and will sit out at least two games. The expansion Wranglers signed several talented free agents and the investment has paid off. Veteran quarterback John Kaleo has passed for 41 touchdowns for the Wranglers, who are in second place in the Southern Division.
