Film fest celebrates the sea

Under the heading “You Can Never Have Too Many Film Festivals” comes news of the first L.A. Harbor International Film Festival, a three-day event in San Pedro with an assortment of feature films, shorts and documentaries that share the common theme of the sea.
The festival kicks off April 30 with “The Perfect Storm” and also will feature the animated “The Little Mermaid,” the documentary “Gotham Fish Tales,” the Italian feature “Respiro” and the 1949 MGM musical “Neptune’s Daughter,” starring Esther Williams.
