Man Pleads Guilty in Missile-Selling Scheme

An Indian national pleaded guilty to trying to transfer hundreds of thousands of dollars for the planned purchase by a British arms dealer of 50 shoulder-fired antiaircraft missiles, U.S. District Court officials said in New York.
Moinuddeen Ahmed Hameed, 40, admitted to Judge Katharine Hayden that he planned to transfer the money with Hemant Lakhani, a British arms dealer awaiting trial for conspiring to broker deals for missiles and explosives.
