JUST BACK
On Anacapa Island, in the first of five overnighters I’ve planned for Channel Islands this year, the weather was cool, and the coreopsis were in bloom. On the short kayak trip to Frenchy’s Cove, playful sea lion pups swam and jumped alongside.
