The Beatles in America: Although for some rock ‘n’ roll fans, the magic innocence of the Beatles’ 1964 invasion had long worn off by 1968, many relished their post-Sgt. Pepper musical maturity. If that’s your definition of the band, then you have one final weekend to see “The Mad Day: Summer of ‘68,” a collection of rare photographs taken in London by Tom Murray. But if you prefer “The Fab Four,” then march over to the museum’s listening rooms for equally rare radio recordings by Larry Kane. The journalist traveled with the Beatles during their 1964 and 1965 tours.
