Emmy Time Goes for Six in a Row

Beginning tonight, purses for all quarter horse races will be raised 10%.

For instance, this means that purses for a $2,000 claiming race, which is the bottom level at Los Alamitos, will now be $6,550.

On tonight’s card, Emmy Time will try for her sixth win in a row for owner-trainer Adan Farias against eight other fillies and mares in the seventh race, a $14,450 allowance at 300 yards.

Drawn outside under jockey Rodrigo Aceves, Emmy Time will have to beat a field that includes Yak Ity Yak Go, That Lovely Day, Secret Rockette, Kacy Red, Shake Em Rita Ballou, Shell Ha, Special Fast Lady and Dashin Dashetta.
