Another Student Death May Be Tied to Alcohol
Colorado State University officials said a 20-year-old student whose body was found over the weekend appeared to be the latest in a string of alcohol-related deaths involving Colorado students this fall.
Bennett Bertoli’s body was found Saturday morning in a house across the street from where he lived near the Fort Collins campus. Anne Hudgens, the school’s executive director of campus life, told a Fort Collins newspaper that the death appeared to be alcohol-related.
Bertoli’s death follows five others at Colorado colleges this fall in which alcohol has been involved.
