Ex-TCA Chief Named to Great Park Post
From Times staff reports
Walter D. Kreutzen, the former top manager of the county’s toll roads, has been named an assistant city manager charged with overseeing the development of the Orange County Great Park at the closed El Toro Marine base, officials said Tuesday.
Kreutzen, 54, was CEO of the Transportation Corridor Agencies, which operates a 51-mile network of tollways in Orange County, including the Foothill and San Joaquin Hills. He retired from that post last month.
He will start his new job in late January, Irvine officials said.
