McDonald’s Worker Saves Man at Drive-Thru
A McDonald’s worker in Baton Rouge ran to the rescue of a customer whose car rolled through the restaurant drive-thru toward a canal. He pulled the man from behind the wheel about 10 feet before the vehicle fell into the water and submerged.
“He saved that man’s life,” Priscilla Morgan said of co-worker Tonio Harris.
The driver, Brian Broussard, 20, blacked out after pulling into the restaurant driveway and evidently took his foot off the brake, police said.
Officers charged Broussard with driving while intoxicated.
