Nevada again the fastest-growing
From Times wire reports
The nation’s population grew by 1% -- 2.9 million people -- between July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2004, to 293.7 million, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates. With a growth rate of 4.1%, Nevada ranked first among states for the 18th year in a row.
California remained the most populous state in the nation with 35.9 million people.
