What’s different?
Regarding the 13-year-old actors of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” director Alfonso Cuaron is quoted as stating during a steady Scottish drizzle: “It’s wet and dirty and the kids are wet and dirty. Don’t they look sexy?” (“Guiding the Growth of a Wizard,” by John Horn, Jan. 18)
Please explain to those of us in the backwaters of culture on the outskirts of Hicksville how this director’s statement is different than Michael Jackson’s statement that sleeping with children is “charming.”
