Pregnancy Parking
I don’t think I’d be too hasty to assume pregnant women need to park closer to their destinations (Feb. 16). We’re a people who have the best of the best of opportunities, yet often neglect to avail ourselves of prenatal care. In the absence of a doctor or nurse reminding women not to gain excessive weight during a time when most of us tend to overeat, parking a bit farther out in parking lots may make a difference -- a positive difference.
Let’s not over-legislate and think for others yet again.
