Second Plastic Surgery Death at Hospital

A hospital under investigation after the cosmetic surgery death of the author of “The First Wives Club” confirmed that a second patient died there this week.
The death Monday at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, also confirmed by state health officials, comes five weeks after the death of Olivia Goldsmith, 54, who suffered a heart attack as she went under anesthesia for a face-lift procedure.
The state Department of Health is investigating the hospital in connection with the deaths.
