Agencies May Team Up to Revive Waterfront
From Times Wire Reports
Local officials are thinking about pooling their resources to rejuvenate the Sacramento River waterfront.
Joining together might give them a better chance of getting state, federal and private grants to fund the project, advocates say.
Elected leaders from Sacramento, West Sacramento, Yolo and Sacramento counties, the state of California and the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency will meet to discuss the possibility of a joint powers authority.
A decision should be made within a year.
