Suspected Killer’s Friend Arrested in Murder Case
The girlfriend of an ex-convict believed to have killed two people in a Hummer before leading police on a chase and committing suicide has been arrested for participation in the murders, the Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday.
Adrianne Armella Kohlhass was arrested in the Sept. 14 shooting deaths of William Langill and Rebecca Jean Bendig.
Sheriff’s deputies were led to the bodies by ex-convict Mark Jensen, who then fled and committed suicide.
The fatal shootings occurred after an all-night drinking party involving the four.
Kohlhass has denied involvement but sheriff’s deputies say that physical evidence and witnesses statements implicate her.
