Don’t balance state’s budget on my tent
Re: Christopher Reynolds’ “Pitch a Tent, and a Fit While You’re at It” (Jan. 20), on the escalating cost of camping in California: Camping used to be an inexpensive way for everyone to enjoy our national and state parks. No more. Gov. Schwarzenegger wants to balance the budget by taxing those least able to pay.
