Renewed: “The L Word,” the lesbian-themed drama that premiered two weeks ago, has been renewed for a second season, marking the fastest renewal of a series in the Showtime channel’s history.

New series: Comics Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, who have been touring together, will star in a TV series for the WB. The network has ordered six episodes.
