Humans, Beasts Make Mark on Cassini Cargo

NASA’s Cassini spacecraft carries more than scientific instruments on its journey to Saturn. At NASA’s request, the Planetary Society collected more than 616,400 signatures -- including cat and dog paw prints -- from 81 countries on a DVD. The Huygens probe produced by the European Space Agency also carries a CD containing four musical themes composed by French musicians Julien Civange and Louis Haeri.
