Terror Threat Against Diplomatic Enclave

A terrorist threat prompted the U.S. Embassy to cancel a reception and the British High Commission to close, officials said. An embassy official said the threat was general and against the entire diplomatic enclave in Islamabad.
Pakistan’s government ordered police protection to be reinforced around the already heavily guarded enclave.
