Update -- Michael Cooper has a 138-37 record as Spark coach going into today’s game, his last with the team. After playing Houston, the Sparks will have six days off. The Comets have struggled without forward Tina Thompson, who may be able to play today. Thompson has missed the last eight games because of a strained left calf. Houston is 2-6 during that span, losing its last three games, including an 82-63 defeat Tuesday by Detroit.
