Gunshots fired from a passing car grazed a student’s back outside Manual Arts High School on Monday afternoon and four men were held for questioning, school officials said.

The gunfire was random and the student was not targeted, police said.

A school nurse treated the 17-year-old senior for a minor injury. Police held four men, whose names were not released, in a gray Jeep Wrangler near the school. No weapon was found.
