Glick Inducted Into Hall of Fame
Indycar champion Bob- by Rahal, NASCAR executive Bill France Jr., and Los Angeles Times sportswriter Shav Glick were inducted Thursday into the Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum during ceremonies in Detroit.
“Shav was very touch- ed,” said president Ron Watson. “The appreciation for him in the room was very evident.”
Glick, the first daily print journalist honored, has covered motorsports for The Times for nearly 40 years.
Other inductees were drag racing star Joe Amato; sports car driver Geoff Brabham; historic open wheel star, the late Johnnie Parsons; and the late motorcyclist, Don Vesco.
