1 Killed, 2 Wounded as Gunmen Fire at Group
From Times Staff Reports
Two men in a beige car opened fire on a group outside a home just before midnight Monday, killing a 13-year-old boy and wounding two others, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 900 block of West 43rd Place. Jessy Lizaola, who was shot in the head, died at the scene. A 14-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were hospitalized. Their conditions weren’t available.
Police had no suspects.
