Before his brother John tries to win the Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown with Smarty Jones on Saturday, trainer Jason Servis will be after a far less significant prize today at Belmont Park.

Jason Servis will send out Chocolate Brown against five other fillies in the $75,000 Fashion, the first 2-year-old stakes of the season in New York.

Chocolate Brown, a daughter of Lion Hearted owned by Dennis Drazin, broke into the game April 8 at Aqueduct. Ridden by Javier Castellano, who also has the mount today in the five-furlong Fashion, she won by 5 3/4 lengths against males as the 6-5 favorite.

The field includes four other fillies who are unbeaten after one race. Coconut Popsicle won from well off the pace at Lone Star on April 18, Western Princess scored for trainer Stan Hough on April 28 at Aqueduct, Limited Entry popped at Keeneland for trainer George Arnold on April 24 and Passageway won at Churchill Downs for trainer Wayne Lukas on April 25. Tax Considerations, a first-time starter, completes the lineup.

Race of the day: Tangle, who finished a close third in the La Canada Stakes on Feb. 14 at Santa Anita, returns to the turf today in today’s seventh at Hollywood Park. The $54,000 allowance at one mile lured six others -- Esmay, Chasethegold, Vadahilla, Market Garden, Bukat Timah and Jolie Rafaela.

One for the road: Priest River returns for the same price ($12,500) after being re-claimed by trainer Steve Miyadi, who is winning at a 44% clip this year, and can collect his second career win in today’s sixth at Bay Meadows. Hector Romero will ride the 3-year-old Devil On Ice gelding in the one-mile contest.

Exotically speaking: A pick three using Cosmic Glitter and Elusive Aussie in the fifth, La Perfecta in the sixth, Market Garden, Tangle, Jolie Rafaela and Bukat Timah in the seventh.

Winners: Previous day/meet total: 2/67. Money: Previous day/meet total: $13.40/$371.40. Total money bet: $534.
