Shock, Down by 23, Rallies to Win

Deanna Nolan scored 29 points to help the Detroit Shock rally from a 23-point deficit to an 83-79 victory over Indiana on Wednesday before 6,665 at Indianapolis.

Detroit, which trailed 41-18 late in the first half, held the Indiana without a basket over the final 9:49. The Shock also had 12-2 and 24-7 runs in the second half.

Kelly Miller scored 20 points for the Fever, which led, 51-32, at halftime.

Phoenix 75, Connecticut 59 -- Diana Taurasi had 17 points and five assists to lead the Mercury before 6,241 at Phoenix.

Nykesha Sales scored 23 points for the Sun, which has lost two straight after winning three in a row.

Houston 59, San Antonio 47 -- Sheryl Swoopes scored 20 points and Tina Thompson added 17 to lead the Comets before 5,743 at Houston. Adrienne Goodson had 15 points for San Antonio.
