Kozlov Goes to the Devils

New Jersey acquired center Viktor Kozlov from Florida on Monday in exchange for forward Christian Berglund and defenseman Victor Uchevatov.
Kozlov, 29, had 11 goals and 16 assists in 48 games with the Panthers. He is a nine-season veteran.
Berglund had two goals and three assists in 23 games with the Devils this season. Uchevatov had been playing with Albany of the AHL.

Left wing Matt Johnson signed a multiyear contract extension with Minnesota.
Johnson, the team’s all-time leader in penalty minutes with 672, would have been eligible to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Philadelphia defenseman Marcus Ragnarsson will be out at least seven days because of a shoulder injury.
