Attorney General in Chihuahua State Quits

A Mexican state attorney general criticized for failing to solve the slayings of more than 300 women in the border town of Ciudad Juarez has resigned, police officials said.
Rights groups have accused Chihuahua state police of neglect in the inquiry, as well as corruption, torture and cooperation with drug gangs. A state spokesman did not say why Atty. Gen. Jesus Jose Solis quit.
