Incumbents’ Advantage

I ran for Congress in the 28th District in the recent primary.

Why do U.S. congressional incumbents win so often and so easily? Because the playing field is outrageously unfair. Incumbents won’t risk debate because they don’t want to elevate the challenger. The media compound the problem by not informing the public of the differences between the candidates.

The people are the ultimate losers because real change in government doesn’t happen. This is the reason that less than half of the eligible voters vote.
