Update -- After ending a two-game losing streak by defeating winless Grand Rapids last week, the Avengers will be challenged against the Desperados. Dallas has won five consecutive games since losing to Carolina and the Desperados avenged that defeat with a 77-52 victory at Carolina last week. Dallas quarterback Glen Gauntt leads the Arena Football League with 1,587 passing yards and is second in touchdowns with 33. He will be going against an Avenger defense that was bolstered last week by the return of Damen Wheeler, who intercepted a pass in his first game since suffering a hamstring injury in the opener.
