At least one Pacific 10 Conference team is left in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Stanford’s women, who considered their sixth seeding a sign of disrespect, settled some scores with a 68-43 victory over third-seeded Oklahoma on Monday in the second round of the Midwest Regional at Tempe, Ariz.

Nicole Powell, leading the Cardinal past the second round for the first time in her career, had 23 points. Dionnah Jackson topped Oklahoma with 15 points.

It was a bitter loss for the Sooners (24-9), who had pulled a big upset over Texas to win the Big 12 Conference tournament title and would have been playing on their home court in the regional semifinals had they won. Instead, Stanford (26-6) will advance to play Vanderbilt on Sunday at Norman, Okla.
